work principle:  
this kind of valve can be handled both by manual or an electric actuator ,and also can be handled by a Pneumatic Actuator .
Electric actuator or pneumator or pneumatic actuator is to covert the axial movement of piston to be 90 degree rotation of valve shaft.So that the valve can be open or close to achieve the requirment of control and open /close for the pipeline system.They have three type of actator: normally open (NO),normally closed (NC),air/air(A/A)

Our Sanitary Stainless Actuated Butterfly Valves are individually boxed per size with an air line coupler . As for the surface finish of the Sanitary Stainless Steel Actuated Butterfly Valve, our valve is polished to meet a 25 Ra outside diameter sanitary finish and is rated as a NEMA 4 wash down valve.

Each of the  Sanitary Stainless Steel Air to Open/ Spring to Close Butterfly Valves stocked have the following features:

 Clamp connection for easy on/off and simple assembly/disassembly for cleaning, inspection or replacing any worn parts. Our valve comes standard with a Silicone seat but we also stock either an EPDM or Viton® seat and can easily put either of those seats in the valve to meet your seat requests and to ship the day the order was placed.  Our Stainless Steel Actuated Butterfly Valves have an 800K cycle test, a compact design when line space is critical, and can be washed down as they carry a NEMA 4 self sealed actuator.
